I heard about this as well, though it seems this EE is not developed by Beamdog, who did the NWN1 EE, but by Aspyr Media - I'm not familiar with their work. There are some performance issues with the original NWN2 that I'd like to be fixed, and there are certainly a few minor bugs/issues with the main campaign, though for me there isn't the biggest need for an EE (I coincidentally just played Storm of Zehir a few weeks ago, and it felt just fine). Still, maybe we get some cool new features out of this, let's see :)

What's interesting is that Aspyr Media owns Beamdog. So it's an odd situation.

NWN2, more than any game i've played, can benefit a lot with a little work. I will be watching this hopefully. I think NWN was the best enhanced edition yet so i'm cautiously optimistic.
