Thank you, Alesia_BH. It can also be bugged, unfortunately. In my install, the gamelog will indicate that an illusion has been successfully dispelled, but invisible enemies don’t appear. This happens to me in both BG1 & 2, v2.6 with Tweaks Anthology v16, and SCS 34.3. I guess I’m just trying to...
@Alesia_BH Sorry to derail a bit, but you mentioned Yoshimo using detect illusions. Does that actually reveal invisible enemies in your install? It doesn’t in mine.
@WiseGrimwald That’s a bummer. Condolences.
I think you should pick up a high-end Windows gaming rig, because reasons, and also so I can live through you vicariously. There's a rule of thumb about what percentage of your yearly earnings should go towards an engagement ring. Maybe the same should apply to gaming machines? How does 10...
Not actually playing as much as I used to, but did successfully complete a no-reload of BG1 the other day, and my characters are now in BG2, which I haven't finished in about 10 years. I'm contemplating building a gaming PC so I can finally try BG3 and some others.
It’s a ‘far out’ film for sure. On par with the Star Wars Holiday Special, I’d say. I’m sorely regretting not bringing this to the bad movie parties we used to have back in the day.
Hi all, looking for some advice. Have any of you played the EEs on a 27”, 1440p monitor? If so, what are your thoughts? Is it an acceptable resolution?
@m7600 made a funny post in the no-reload thread about the fear of a link between Satanism and D&D in the 80s which was exacerbated by crappy TV. Anyone remember Mazes & Monsters? 😂
Very far from the spirit of the franchise. I wonder what compelled them to make this. Do they think they can start over with an entirely new generation of players, and ignore loyal fans of the series?
I don’t generally wish misfortune on anyone, but I hope this doesn’t sell.
Sometimes you have to ask why you’re doing a thing. If you willfully endorse the wholesale surrender of the imagination to a computer, then it was never really about the magic of making games. You may as well have been a hedge fund manager from the start.
